HISTORY

Le Bon Pain Bakery

I am French from Normandie. I lived for 18 years in Chile and I’m now settled in Fernie. I am passionate about outdoor activities like biking and snowboarding. Eating good products has always been part of my life. 

With my French background and culture, I’ve always been interested in eating bread and pastries that are good for your health and learning the process. I decided to learn with a French baker that has had different experiences and professional training. When I moved to Fernie I noticed the lack of good bread and took the opportunity to create my own bakery. After speaking with many different people about this project I started developing this new bakery. 

Our main focus for the bakery’s products is that they are affordable and of good quality. Our flour is 100% organic and from Creston, BC. Everything is handmade, artisanal, baked fresh every day, our loaves are all sourdough and we make everything with passion and joy.
